Welcome to The Geo Trio, where we're on a mission to keep jazz alive and thriving for San Diego and beyond.
Meet Geovanny Ramirez, our vibrant vocalist, recently graduated from the Music School at San Diego State University. Geovanny shares his musical talent by teaching violin and viola to students of various ages, fostering a love for music across generations.
Eric Wesling, our accomplished guitarist, brings a wealth of experience from Berklee School of Music in Boston, MA. Alongside his role in The Geo Trio, Eric coaches music at a local high school and offers private lessons, sharing his passion for jazz with eager learners.
Completing our trio is Julian Esparza, a skilled bassist with roots in the San Francisco Music Conservatory. Julian's musical presence extends far beyond our performances; you can catch him enchanting audiences at renowned San Diego venues like Blind Lady Ale House and Panama 66.
Together, Geovanny, Eric, and Julian form The Geo Trio, a collective dedicated to keeping jazz vibrant and accessible. We're committed to weaving the timeless melodies of jazz into the fabric of San Diego's music scene.
